Mutton Biryani Masala
(Serves 7 to 8)

Mutton (cube with bones) | 1 kg |
Rice (basmati) (pre soaked for 25-30 minutes) | 750g |
Potatoes (peeled & cut into 4 piece) | 2-3 Nos. (250g) |
Onions (Thin Slices) | 4-5 Nos. |
Tomatoes (pieces0 | 4-5 Nos. |
Ginger (Paste) | 3 Tbsp (35g) |
Garlic (Paste) | 2 Tbsp 20g |
Yoghurt (Beaten) | 1 cup (250g) |
Green chili (paste) | 8-10 (50g) |
Lemon (juice) | 2-3 Nos. (3-4 Tbsp) |
Yellow Food color | 2 Pinch |
Oil / Ghee | 1 cup (250g) |
AHMED Plain Biryani Masala | 1 Packet (60g) |
Cooking Procedure
- In hot fry onion oil till golden then remove 2 Tbsp oil & small quantity of onion, keep a side.
- In the same pan add mutton, ginger, garlic and AHMED Mutton Biryani Masala & fry for few minutes on high flame then add 3-4 cup of water, covered & cook.
- Approx after 15 minutes add potatoes, yoghurt, tomatoes and cook at low flame.
- When oil separate from the masala add lemon juice, Green chili paste & well mixed then stop the flame.
- Separately boil the rice with (12-14) glass of water, (2-3) Tbsp salt, till three quarter tender, drain out extra quantity of water.
- Grease another pan from ghee/oil and add half boiled rice add remaining oil fried yellow color & keep on for 3 mint at high flame & (10-12) min t at low flame.
Mixed before serve.
Delicious AHMED Mutton Biryani is ready.

For Milder Hotness:
For those who take mild chilies & salt, half the quantity of the given recipe spices can be used. Salt may be to the requirement.
